Based in Glen Allen, Virginia, David brings deep expertise in environmental liability and excess and surplus lines, supported by a career that spans both environmental consulting and specialty underwriting leadership roles.

His experience on the consulting side of the industry provides a practical, ground-level understanding of how environmental conditions are identified, evaluated, and remediated, a perspective he now applies to structuring thoughtful, technically sound insurance solutions.

In his role, David works closely with brokers and underwriting teams to translate real-world environmental exposures into clear, actionable coverage strategies, bridging the gap between theoretical risk and how claims actually develop in practice. He is particularly focused on delivering disciplined, differentiated underwriting approaches in an evolving risk landscape. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family and is on a mission to visit every U.S. national park, an ongoing journey that reflects both his connection to the environment and his belief in experiencing it firsthand.
